Lily is 6 months old...
Lily just loves Collin and watches him all of the time...
Lily has already learned how to play defense. Notice her hand...

Sitting pretty...

I know I say this every month, but the time REALLY does FLY! My sweet girl is 6 months old already! She still doesn't have any teeth yet, but she loves to put everything in her mouth. I'm sure it feels good on her little gums. She is officially sitting up all on her own now. It's so cute to watch her eyes when she is sitting up on the floor. She seems so proud of herself and loves to see the view from a different angle.
She wasn't quick enough. Can you see the big red spot on the left side of her head? Poor thing doesn't stand a chance...
My little guy is growing up...
Here is Lily as happy as can be...
I don't know where my little boy went. Collin is such a big boy now. He is almost 2 1/2. He has the sweetest little heart. He loves to give Lily lots of hugs and kisses. I have to watch him because sometimes he likes to squeeze her a little too tight. We are working towards potty training. He has gone several times on the big potty. We give him one M&M each time he actually goes. We thought about giving him one each time he tries, but for those of you that know Collin, you know that will not work. He's a smart boy and we would go through bags of M&M's if we gave him one for just "trying." We'll probably hit the potty training hard this summer when he's a little more ready. Or, should I say when I'm a little more ready!!

What Recession?
Lily in her Bumbo...
My two little bugs...
She LOVES to grab her feet...

We all know that you can't turn on the TV or read a newspaper these days without hearing about the terrible economic state we are in. Kids are such a gift from God and a simple reminder that everything will be okay and is in HIS hands. Children know that no matter what, we will provide for them and we all need to know that the same is true for us. God will take care of us no matter what happens in this crazy economy. My mind is taken off all that is going on each day when I hear Collin say something so sweet and innocent. Just the other day I was taking him and Lily for a walk and I was strapping him in the stroller. I said, "Are you comfy?" His response was, "No mommy, I'm Collin." I just love it. Like I said, what recession?

Collin's Big Boy Bed...
Collin has officially graduated from the crib to a big boy bed. We decided we were going to keep him n his crib until he learned how to get out. Well, the day has come. I was downstairs feeding Lily a bottle about a week ago and Collin was SUPPOSE to be napping. I heard little hands turning his door knob and he came running out with a grin from ear to ear saying, "Mommy, I got out of my bed." He was SO proud of what he had accomplished!
We got him a twin-size red race car bed. He LOVES it!! He has done such a great job staying in his bed. We are so proud of him!
