Mimi and Grandad's...

Today we went to Mimi and Grandad's house to let the kids play.  Collin LOVES going over to their house.  He knows how to work his magic and get what he wants with them.  After lunch, Collin walked into Mimi's pantry.  I got up to see what he was getting into and he said, "no Mamma, you sit...Mimi help me."  Guess what he comes out of the pantry holding?  A chocolate chip cookie!  That stinker.  He knew exactly what he was doing!

Another month has flown by!  Lily still doesn't have any teeth yet, but she's not in any hurry to get them.  We have started her on stage 1 baby food and she's not a big fan of it.  She really enjoys her bottles.  She will start to cry when I put her in her high chair to eat her rice cereal or food.  I'm ready for her to start eating more food because the formula we have to buy her is breaking the bank!

Collin is so sweet to Lily (most of the time).  When it's time for her bedtime Collin will say, "good night baby angel."  He also likes to help pick out her hair bows.

Collin talks...A Lot!  He listens to everything and will repeat it at the most random time.  For example, today he said, "Are you Babe?"  Anyone who knows Todd and I know that we never use each other's name.  We always say, "Hey, babe."  Well, Collin has now picked it up.  

He is VERY interested in trucks.  Anytime we are driving he wants to know what kind of truck it is that we are passing.  Do you realize how many different trucks there are?  Pick-up trucks, 18-wheelers, moving trucks, fire trucks, mail trucks, etc.  When we tell him what kind of truck it is, he'll ask where are they going and what is the driver's name.

We started off the Easter weekend with the kids getting their pictures taken with the Easter bunny.  I had to bribe Collin with a "surprise" to sit next to the bunny and smile.  He did what he was told and then wanted to know what his "surprise" was.  I had no clue what it was going to be, so we took a little walk through the mall.  Anyone with more than one child knows that this is no easy task.  I decided to buy him a small fruit smoothie which he sucked down in about 2 minutes.  The pictures turned out cute.  I didn't get any with my camera because I was too busy being the goofy mom trying to get my kids attention to look towards the camera.  Don't laugh...we've all been there: )  

Thursday, we went to Collin's Spring Fling that his school put on.  They had bounce houses, a petting zoo, rock climbing, train rides and much more.  Collin had a blast collecting all of his eggs during the egg hunt.  We went to another event on Saturday that the church put on which was filled with a lot of the same activities.  We went to church on Sunday morning and then to Aunt Stacie and Uncle Craig's house for dinner later that evening.  It was a busy weekend, but very enjoyable!

Nana and Papa...

We had a pretty busy weekend this past weekend.  Nana and Papa came up for a couple of days.  It's always so great seeing them, but I feel like the time goes too fast.

After Nana and Papa left on Saturday, we met Tessa, Nick and their sweet little Olive at a park in Fort Worth's cultural district.  The kids had a blast running around and playing.  Tessa and Nick adopted Olive in September from Ethiopia.  She is almost 18 months old now.  She is a beautiful little girl with the cutest personality.  It was great to see them and see how much Olive has changed in just a few short months!
