PIcs of the girls...
Hayley and her kids, Sophie and Jackson and Monica and her girls, Presley and Finley all came over to our house for a playdate yesterday. The kids seemed to have a great time playing together. I tried to get pics of the big kids too, but they were all too busy playing to have their picture taken. I can't believe how big they have gotten!

A trip to Waco...
Papa and Lily...

This past weekend we all went to Waco to visit Nana and Papa. Aunt Julie and Maygan came down from Austin as well. It was so great visiting and seeing everyone. Collin had a blast! He loved just playing outside with sticks and and just getting the chance to "be a boy." We took the kids to the Waco Fire Station down the rode from my parents house. The fireman who gave the tour was so informative and even pulled the truck out and raised the ladder. It went up to 75 ft. in the air. Crazy!

Lily is 10 months old...
Lily clapping...
Where has the time gone? I can't believe that it has already been 10 months - just 2 more months until she is 1. That's crazy! Lily was officially released by her GI doctor and we were told to start adding dairy to her diet. We can now use regular formula. We put her on Similac Advance and she loves it. I don't think she even blinked when we switched it on her. Now we just need to get her up to speed on finger foods. We have given her baby puffs, Cheerios and cheese and she seems to like it all. She has also been teething quite a bit lately. She has 4 teeth coming in up top! She's going to go to bed one night and wake up with a full set of teeth one day. She loves getting around. She pulls herself along the sides of everything to help her walk. She has also learned to balance herself standing up for a few seconds. She wants so badly to walk. The poor girl has had several spills because she doesn't know what can and can't support her when she tries to pull up. Practice make perfect, right? Collin can be so sweet when she is upset from a fall. He will usually try to bring her different toys to cheer her up.

Lily and Collin made pretend cookies. Yummy!

Collin buckled his jacket on his own. Can you tell?

Collin is still going full speed. He has absolutely loved his summer school this summer. This is his last week. I don't know who will be more sad, me or him? : ) We have about a month until we start back in the fall. That may be a good time to try the potty training thing again. I said "may be." It's up to him! He just loves his new swing set. He likes to pretend that the clubhouse up top is a fire station. He will run inside and put on all of his fireman gear (hat, jacket, boots and all) and steer the steering wheel in the clubhouse like he driving the fire truck. It's so cute!! The only problem is that we have to remind him that he shouldn't wear the rubber jacket because it has been over 100 degrees outside. He still insists and usually ends up soaking wet from sweat.
Collin is like a tape recorder on "record" all of the time. Never tell any secrets around him or they will be told. The latest thing he did when Todd's parents were over was give Elmo a time out. He said, "Elmo, you're getting a time out!" I asked why and he said it was for hitting Lily. Hmm...wonder where he came up with that idea? It was really sweet though because afterwards he told Elmo he loved him and read him a story and tucked him in bed.

This has been a great July 4th weekend! We didn't have too much planned and have been just spending time with the kids. We woke up this morning and went to the annual Flower Mound children's parade. It's not your typical parade with floats and stuff. It is a parade for the kids where you decorate their stroller, wagon, tricycle or anything else you can find. Then, the kids get to be the star of the show by marching in the parade. We stood on the sidelines this year and watched all of the people. The parade however, did start off with a fire truck leading it. This was the highlight of the parade for Collin. His eyes got so big! After the parade they have bounce houses, music and hotdogs for the kids. It was a great time!
